So dumb on the VW one. Studies showed that 8.9% of distracted drivers perished in car accidents, while excessive speed made up 28% and impaired driving (including sleepy, alchol, and drug abuse) make up 45%! 40% is the common number, while speeding has dropped significantly. That being said, how hard is it to stop preaching to people and just sell your car that lies about its gas mileage? Maybe VW should look within when learning a lesson.
