Experts are concerned about outbreaks of seasonal influenza alongside further spikes of COVID-19 infections this fall and winter as some people return to work and school. Jen Gerber, a recent PhD graduate from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, talks with Stephanie Desmon about the importance of the flu vaccine to keep people from getting sick and filling hospital beds needed for COVID-19 patients. She also busts some common myths about why people don’t get vaccinated.
Dose influenza vaccine give corona test result false positive?
My 12 year old daughter got her flu vaccine last night and now has a fever of 103. My family of 5 all got the vaccine but only she has this high fever. Pharmacist said it can be a side effect of the shot but now her pediatrician is telling me its probably covid because vaccinations don't cause high fevers. Scheduled for a covid test this afternoon but is it true vaccinations dont cause high fevers?
Great information thanks
We still don't know the reasons for the winter seasonality of #COVID-19 and why some viruses are so pathogenic. Here is an interesting starting point: https://youtu.be/l_jmqGvdeBY
Excellent information, as always. Thanks!
