Lyme disease is an infectious disease that is caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi. It is passed onto the human host via the bite of a black-legged tick, otherwise known as a deer tick. Like any infection, this disease should get early treatment to avoid serious health complications.

This video promotes general awareness of Lyme disease. The general population needs to be aware that this disease, although highly treatable, can be very harmful to the human body. Always check yourself for ticks when hiking in the woods. Please be aware that eliciting the symptoms that are mentioned in the video does not mean you have Lyme Disease. Always consult with your doctor.

Ticks carry many infections.
This video is obviously made by a bunch of dumbasses. The info is FALSE. First, most people dont even know they have been bitten. Ticks can be to small to see. You can get lyme and other infections from further tick bites. Treatment for lyme does not work. I know. I've had tick borne infections for over 30 years. I find it strange that dogs can be diagnosed and successfully treated. They also have a vaccine for multiple strains of lyme. Why is this not available for humans? The patent for DNA of the bacteria, borrelia
burgdorfi, is owned by a member of the board of the CDC. DONT BELIEVE ANY OF THE CRAP IN THIS VIDEO!

I have chronic lyme disease. There is much better research out there which don't follow the CDC's information on lyme disease. As patients, victims… We know most research from them is just bull. It is not easily treated.. A lot of the time it is very difficult to treat. The CDC never changes their outdated statistics!! Its been 7 years of the same, which is mathematically impossible. Lyme disease ruins lives completely. There is no cure for it. Stop listening to textbooks etc and get your information from people who actually suffer from it. You will see an entire world that would blow your mind!!
