Poland is changing. In 2015, the far-right Law and Justice party, or PiS, won both the presidential election and a slim parliamentary majority. Since then, they’ve been working to cement their power by firing judges, purging the military and civil service, and cracking down on protesters and the media. All of this has put the country on a collision course with the European Union that could threaten Europe’s hard-won peace and prosperity following centuries of conflict.

Two corrections:
At 7:17 Viktor Orban is incorrectly described as President, when he is actually the Prime Minister.
At 5:27 and 7:32 Finland is mislabeled as not being a member state of the European Union. Finland joined the EU in 1995.
Britain left the EU, Poland stood up to the EU after a century of standing up to opponents.

We voted for this government. We wanted these changes. We have got democracy, free speech and the opposition is able to protest. PiS is doing their job. The West will fall because of migrants. We wont.

They reason behind it wasnt the mostly because of P.I.S, but also other EU problems, especially when germany try'ed to force ceach, slovenia, hunagry and poland to house in middle east reffuges, that forced to threaten to withdar and crate they own allaince if germany will use EU forces

The entire structure of the EU needs reform. I’m no fan of the right wing government in Poland, but it’s hardly fair to say Poland alone is causing the EU’s fundamental problems.
