What if we could find one single equation that explains every force in the universe? Dr. Michio Kaku explores how physicists may shrink the science of the Big Bang into an equation as small as Einstein’s “e=mc^2.” Thanks to advances in string theory, physics may allow us to escape the heat death of the universe, explore the multiverse, and unlock the secrets of existence. While firing up our imaginations about the future, Kaku also presents a succinct history of physics and makes a compelling case for why physics is the key to pretty much everything.

Bon Voyage says:

Correction Prof. Kaiku: modern Physics was initiated by Moslem scientists such as IbnSahl(Optics, Mathematics), Musa brothers (Mechis and auomation) Ibn AlHaitham (Astronomy, Mathematics,Optics,Camera obscura) Theorising, interpreting and experimenting and interprenting some of the science intiated by Greek knowledge of Aristotle,Galen, Ptolemy, and knwoledge of ancient Indian, Persian, Phaoronic Egypt?Sudan and ancient Chinese.

Richard Dowling says:

I'm a professer too. And I'm still alive who's Einstein, I was a dirt farmer too.

Jahvon Jordan says:

The 5th force is time, b4 the Big Bang there was nothing but nothingness & void, then there was a “thought” which generated vibration, which generates waves & light instantly, probably God’s thought”

Veronica Giblin says:

more people should be seeing this and thumbing it up. Why is it that I am only seeing this now, but I have tons of Joe Rogan video suggestions when Im not even subscribed just becsuse I watched one once?

Francis Richardson says:

If during the big bang, the explosion begins from a single point. Then everything would travel outward with the particals spreading away from each other. My belief is that this is why + and – did not eliminate each other. Later just as matter groups, the antimatter grouped forming black holes. Just a laymans theory…

Jaime says:

Today's physics rock star is Michio! May the forces of the Universe bless him.

plastic man says:

Hawkins entered his wormhole recently, R.I.P. STEPHEN.

Rahul Singh says:

Postman also help built internet he passed the messages

Ammar Mosawy says:

what you mean by we compose 0.03% ? you mean human ?

Gabriel Love says:

Can anyone explain his string field theory lagrangian?

Arch says:

Wish i could talk to someone wise about life and death

Michigan USA/Singapore S.E.Asia says:

Awesome. You think like a Michigander scientist like Edison, Ford and Upjohn

Robertino El Niño Piazza says:

there is no room 4    42.13 min. in a nutshell

Mohamed Bushra says:

That grudge/cricket like sound when transitioning slides is annoying affff.

Hitesh V says:

Issac newton is godlike

Henry N. says:

Holy fuck, these Millennials are going to become gods???!!

Richard A says:

Funny, having a warning about the booze ad that preceded this video. If it's so "adult rated" then show it on some other channel.

Siddhartha Biswas says:

Math, Not Physics!

Mana Talk says:

what r u doing to save the planet & all of its inhabitants?

Frank Morreale says:

Michio, are you at Bronx Community College? Love that campus.

Howard Wiggins says:

So where is my flying car? I'm still waiting. December 2018. Still no flying car.

Howard Maxwell says:

For some reason I want some Pez

Albert Renshaw says:

When this video was made we hadn't found the Higgs Boson yet, woah haha

sabyasachi sadhu says:

The sound of OM(ॐ) is perfect fit for the string theory.
