Hardware Unboxed says:

Another really good option for Aussies at the moment is the Nokia 6.1, not as good value in the USA, but you can get them below AU$350 these days which is a steal

OhMyBot says:

Interested what you think about the Xiaomi poco F1 at 300 USD.

bryan joiner says:

nothing apple.

Lionel B says:

The Sony mid-rangers are actually pretty good, the XA2 for example is not that expensive and it is a well rounded phone with no major flaws.
Also, the XZ2 can rival an S9, each phones having their strength and weaknesses.

Kacper Noe says:

None. Get a Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei or any other NORMAL brand.

Forty says:

OnePlus shaking up the market.

Andy F says:

I just upgraded from a Samsung s5 mini to an S7. Time is right getting a flag ship phone that is one or two generations old is a great way to get high end hardware at a great deal price. I looked at many other phones that are available here in New Zealand and much expensive didn't have the features the S7.

Lucurous says:

G6 $250 for Snapdragon 450?. This is a joke right?.

Vin Narcissistic says:

So the Nokia 8 with Snapdragon 835 and half the price of the S8 isn't on the list ?
Is this sponsored or paid ?

STL_81_99 says:

Any experience with the Asus Zenfone 5z?

hiden name says:

Oh yeah for 250 i wouldn't buy a xiaomi with their "crapy" os…. It's not like they got a 250 offer who runs android one and kicks the shit ou of the G6

vasilije94 says:

I got s9. Its a great phone. There are many reasons why i chose it over s9+, p20 pro or iphone. The only thing why i chose it over s9+ is smaller form factor. I just don't like big phones, and there is not much of a difference between s9 and s9+. That second camera is not adding much to the game. The reason why i didn't go with iphone is because its way overpriced, not to mention no headphone jack, no fingerprint scanner and shitty notch. I was thinking trough a lot for like a week, looking every video, every benchmark to chose between s9 and p20 pro. Reasons why i chose s9 over p20 pro are insanely better screen on s9. Higher res and curved display is so beautiful. I also didn't like the fact that cameras stick out off the back on p20 pro, the design is not good, the body is just not as good looking. The camera on p20 pro is good when you shoot objects and stuff, but once you take picture of people, the filters are just way to strong, even if you set it at 0. I really didn't like that. Also for p20 pro camera to shine, you have to use pro mode and to know what to do, which i don't. I just like to use auto mode and get great shots which s9 provides with ease. Other reason regarding camera is 4k video. S9 has the best 4k video recording with amaizing stabilization, while on p20 pro without stabilization it looks super ugly, like a budget phone. The hardware is stronger in s9. Other main reasons for s9 are no ugly notch and it has a headphone jack. Yes, its a deal breaker. Some of us like to use our quality headphones. I like having options, not being stuck to only one thing. So yea, at first i had no idea which phone to take, s9 or p20 pro, but after checking all these things, it started to add up quite a bit for samsung phone. Also s9 was even cheaper that p20 pro, which was weird. For me, samsung phone feels like its almost perfect phone. If s10 brings fullscreen to the phone, i don't see how more you can improve that phone's design except adding new hardware inside. In terms of design, its a perfect phone that has no compromises even for headphone jack and notch.

irobotic says:

Samsung Note 9 with the new Exynos 9820 SoC FTW

Sam Burrows says:

I used to be a big supporter of buying those cheap chinese phones with good specs, but recently I swapped to a second hand s7 and my god it's so much better. Like don't even waste your time with a cheaper phone just get a good quality second hand or refurb phone that is a couple years old. The specs on the s7 seem a bit so so, but the feel and workings of the phone a leagues ahead of any chinese phone I've used. I'll never go back to China phones at this point. The camera for example is only 12mp, but it absolutely shits on my friends 18mp china camera. I do like the idea of running a home brew/custom OS on a China phone to see if it performs the same as a quality phone

Rico Cornelius says:

Xiaomi Mi A2 is an android one phone so it quite similar with stock android experience, and the price is good too.

Дмитрий Чигирёв says:

You don't know much about Xiaomi phones? Aren't you? 😀

Dr Lulz says:

Facebook deletion? F5 algorithm.

Micaiah Gittens says:

the asus zenphone 5 line looks like a good buy as well ~360USD for the flagship and ~290USD for the lower end model

Echo tech & gaming says:

I really wish windows phone wouldn't have failed

Dope Beats says:

Tim, Have you ever heard of Nokia, they make pretty solid phones in terms of Hardware and Software, and the most important they are Durable! Please Make a review of the Nokia 6.1/6 2018

Dennis Dowd says:

I am using a low end LG, which cost me $75.00. Yeah it is very limited, but yes, it is limited, but for my needs it is just fine.

TibyXD says:

OnePlus 6 or Xiaomi Mi 8?

Marko Popov says:

I have Huawei Y5 II and it is rather ok phone. I got it for free in Telenor and about 11 Us dollars per month for packet services. My biggest objections are: Only 1 gb ram and only 8 gb rom. And battery should be better. It has mediatek qc cpu 1.3 ghz so it is rather slow but it is ok for this price range. It is quality made and 8 mpx main shooter is ok for price again.

Eliran Tuil says:

Hwawei blows the pixel out of the water BTW.

Eliran Tuil says:

Pixel 2 xl, IMHO. Is not worth it, especially with last Gen cpu.

damasterpiece08 says:

someone please add timestamps, i'm not gonna spend more on a phone than on a gpu 😛

damasterpiece08 says:

now i'm waiting for jay or brian to do a top 20 second hand ones
