Bingo! That's what I concluded several years ago…So called "evidence-based medicine" is a legal term rather than a scientific term. (but it sounds so official). Medical science is a form of institutionalized fraud, for the most part, and merely masquerades as "science" with the EBM phrase thrown in that no one questions.
Thank you lawyers, for making science so respectable.
Dr. Feinman is not the greatest speaker in the world but his book The World Turned Upside Down is a clear and insightful historical overview with a couple brilliant chapters on flawed medical studies and the abuse of statistics and causality and is highly recommended. He knows of what he speaks.
