Marine biologists doing marine biology stuff!
FUN FACT! It was during the making of this video that I really started considering starting a youtube channel, I just had a loot of fun filming and editing it (and I am still expecting an Oscar nomination any time soon =P). And I just found it while looking for some material for a presentation and decided to share it with you… ENJOY!!! (not sure if that fact was fun though…)
This was all a couple of years ago, and I did it for my research groups´ facebook page and thought you guys would maybe enjoy it as well (hope you do 😉 )

Your channel is such a helpful place for people to learn about marine biology… I'm in middle school and I love to study marine life. Except I didn't know what marine biologists do know I have a better understanding thanks to you.

Do you get to take time off and enjoy the weekends? How much of your work is made up of close collaboration with a team of people and what part of it is individual? How do you go about finding grant-worthy ideas and people who can fund them?

All the beauty of the ocean at our fingertips, and humans just can’t quite figure out how to stop destroying everything they touch. What will it take to make the public aware of what they are actually doing? I personally fear it is too late, despite the scientific community’s insistence on it being irreversible. What is your opinion?
