The Panama Papers Leak Explained

The Panama Papers is a massive data leak of Mossack Fonseca, a Panama law firm specialized in incorporating companies in offshore jurisdiction. This is one of the biggest leak ever with 11.5 million of Mossack Fonseca internal documents made between 1970s and early 2016. The leak was found out by a German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung a year ago. The first report was published on April 3rd, 2016, exposed financial activities and offshore holdings of many politicians and prominent figures. The full report is expected to be released in May.

small error at 0:55 His "Profit" is only $10. "Revenue" is still $100. Graphic on screen is correct, narration is wrong.
