It’s one year since the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by world leaders at the UN in New York
Nuclear technology can play a significant role in the achievement of many of the goals, especially in the fields of health,
food security, energy and the environment.
The contribution of nuclear science to the SDGs will be highlighted on 28 and 29th
September during the year’s IAEA Scientific Forum.
