So I recently lost 147 pounds, however I still have about 25 to go. With that said I have been trying to get myself to step out of my comfort zone and try new clothing options to feel better about myself. When I ordered this I did so with the expectation that I could save this for one of my outfits when I finally reach my goal, so I ordered a size medium. I am currently a size 10 in jeans and that’s about all I know.
When I opened this dress up I became more in love with it then I even though, possibly because it’s a hoodie type dress that could be played up with heal boots or even down with sneakers, either way this was my new favorite and it has pushed me to kick things into high gear with weight loss.
While checking it out my hubby told me to try it on and I assured him a medium wasn’t going to fit me, well it did. Yes I have areas that aren’t too appealing, but I still fit into it. It is very soft and comfy, almost like the feeling you get when you wear a sweat suit. I love the black strip down the back and the hoodie feature of course. The sleeveless feature is great as I could technically wear this all year round, just put a sweater over it in the cooler months.
I will say that I am a bigger breasted woman and although it zipped up fine, it would fit much better when I lose this last bit, assuming they get smaller too. I am currently a 36 DD. So if you are larger be sure to grab a bigger size.
I went over this with a fine tooth comb to be sure that it wasn’t going to fall apart after wearing it a time or two, all was good. I even threw it in thewash, which to myself is the true test, I washed it in a Warm setting and threw it in the dryer. It came out the same size and all intact.
Oh by the way, the zipper hold up well too. I say that because I’ve had a dress where it was zippered like this in the front and due to my large breasts it would always slide down, well not this zipper it holds up well, big plus for me.
Overall I am sure this will be my go to grab out of my closet for awhile.
