A Straddle is an options strategy that’s created by trading both a call and a put at the same strike price. We can either buy or sell a straddle. If we’re buying a straddle we want the stock to move significantly up or down. If we’re selling a straddle we want the price of the stock to stay where it is.
In this episode of our Options Trading Strategies series, Ryan and the man across from him, Beef Hart, discuss what a straddle is, when to buy or sell a straddle, and how to set up the trades.
The next video in the series takes a look at how we can define our risk when trading a straddle. If you want to be the first to know when the next Webinar is up, subscribe to our YouTube channel: http://ow.ly/EbyTn
