Tim Julian says:

Surely a biochemist is a biochemist & a virologist is a virologist. OK a question for you. Supposing a virus is phylogeneticamente (spelling?) closest to another virus e.g. infectious qualities, codons, but it very distant monological (sequencing) from another virus what does this tell us about the two viruses?

Horace Ball says:

Trust me, as a biochemist, I can assure you a virus was NOT the origin of the nucleus. This is anti-science evolutionism philosophy.
