What about dark energy?
Matt, stop gesticulating and put your hands in your pockets.
Only your voice is needed to impart the information.
Put simply: the monkey is part of the black hole and evaporates with it.
I think the answers to this lies with Einstein. But, I also think our understanding of gravity is incomplete. I know my understanding of the fundamental forces is incomplete, but from all the physics i do know, i can take that nothing scales correctly irl, and scale matters…. in any case; i don't like scientists slapping the word "dark" onto things they don't understand.
But what if we think the milky way is rotating so fast because of the way we measure it is wrong (ie wrong assumptions about physics in the universe for example)? What if dark matter is just physics being different elsewhere? I know it's an assumption at the basis of all physics but…
So is it logical to say that all of us are the result of hundreds of thousands of MACHO's that occurred earlier on? And if the universe was previously orange and is now black, then shouldn't the universe be suing Piper Kerman for copyright infringement?

The Theory of the Universe
by
Lawrence O'Brien
Question Answer
1 . What is dark matter the void at the center of the universe
2 . What is dark energy the permanent mag field surrounding the void not filaments
3. What causes light to have a speed the electromagnetic force is interfered with by the force
4. Why does everything spin in the universe space is curved
5. What is causing the universe to expand the force is getting stronger
6. What is the two split trying to tell us it can measure the interaction with the force
7. Why do all the stars orbit a galaxy at the same rate space is curved
8. Why do we spin counter clock wise our position in the universe
9. Of all the known forces which has the following characteristics
a. It's static and does not move
b. You can't feel it or see it
c. It goes through everything
d. It's all around us
e. Move's matter in strange way's
f. WHAT MAKE'S UP THE FABRIC OF SPACE TIME
The force = The permanent magnetic force and should be measured in Gauss or Tesla
So what does this mean
Can you see the universe the curvature of space
Look at this picture of a perm mag surrounded by iron filings
WE LIVE IN A BAND WITHIN A HUGE MAGNETIC FIELD
CREATED BY SOMETHING AT THE
CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE
A PERMANENT MAGNETIC FIELD MEASURED IN GAUSS =
FLUX DENSITY IS THE FABRIC
OF EINSTEIN'S SPACE
Against popular belief, the universe has a center. let's call it a black hole for now?
I believe we live in a band on the positive side or north pole if you like, due to the interaction with light and to the side that gives us a counter clock wise rotation due to the curvature of the band.
Einstein's cosmological constant should be in Gauss or Tesla and may not be needed now that we know the force we are interacting with.
Because light is an electromagnetic wave, then the speed of light is the force acted upon it by the static magnetic field or the gauss field. as Newton's third law state's For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. this would cause a wave in the opposite direction at the speed of c. the speed of c with out the field would be c squared ? You might be able to measure the reaction to the Gauss field using the two split experiment?
The expansion of the universe can be shown by taking a magnet, surround it with iron filings and check the pattern. Then simply place another magnet into the chain and bang the universe expands. all the matter in the universe is headed for the north pole but guess what, so is very thing on the south side. Boy is the universe huge and getting bigger. we may also be able to measure the size of the universe.
So what can we do
I believe some people are calling the bands filaments. With this understanding, We know why things move in space and how they move in space. The speed is caused by, where you are in relationship to the center and the distance to the north pole. The closer you are to both the faster you go.
We can estimate the size of the universe by measuring the number of bands in the visible universe, their curvature, the space between them and then plot their direction by measuring the speed of the galaxies and how far away they are from each other
So what can we do, grab the kids the wife and the dog and get into our magnetically charged space ship, cancel the force to the south pole side and increase the strength on the north pole side and head for the outer bands . If you go to far in the other direction you won't be coming back
The bang bang big bang theory
So how did the universe get it's beginning
A tiny piece of energy was traveling through space held together by a magnetic field. As it travels through space it collects more energy until it reaches equilibrium . The next packet of energy hits and bang the magnetic field collapse's. the first piece of matter is formed. it combines with the left over energy and increases the magnetic field in proportion. Now it can attract more energy until it hit's the next point of Equilibrium then bang, and bang until BIG bang here we are.

I HEARD THAT THE CYCLE OF ICE AGES IS 26,000 YEARS SO IF THEIR'S A CYCLE THEN NOT ONLY IS SPACE
CURVED IT HAS A WAVE FUNCTION AND IF MY THEORY IS CORRECT IT SHOULD SHOW THAT THE WAVE IS GETTING
SMALLER. BECAUSE THE FREQUENCY SHRINKS THE WAVE LINE GETS SHORTER
THIS WOULD MEAN THE TIME BETWEEN ICE AGES WOULD GET CLOSER
JUST A THEORY
BE RIGHT BACK GOING ON LINE TO SEE WHAT I CAN FIND OUT
BINGO AND THEIR IT IS A WAVE PATTERN THE ICE AGES ARE HAPPENING SOONER AND SOONER. BUT WHEN WE LOOK AT THE DATA FROM 25O TO THE PRESENT, THEIRS A FLAT LINE
REMEMBER THE UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING, COULD THIS BE A LARGE EXPANSION RATE? JUST A THEORY BUT I'M SURE WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT. WE DO LIVE IN A STRANGE PLACE.
DO YOU SEE GLOBAL WARMING?
Is it possible that dark mater is just interstellar gass ? For exemple neutron gass ?
I watched the next episode, where you answer that it cannot be ordinary gass (helium, hidrogen)
would the BH be seen red with the naked eyes? because of the redshift? also cuz we see the particles before the event horizon.
Hi , First of all let me congratulate you guys on these episodes.
I have a question ( perhaps a stupid one (?)) relating to dark matter and the idea of a Holographic Universe. Could the reason why we can't detect Dark Matter be because what we are observing ie dark matter is not really in our perceived universe? But is a representation of something at some cosmic horizon > ie like looking at a shadow of a man rather than the man ??
(don't know if that make sense or not)
Fuck, sometimes I think I should have studied physics instead of biology.
I have a question, so how do we know that dark matter isn't just the measurement of the natural curvature of spacetime? Why are we assuming spacetime is flat when there is no "regular matter" present? What allows us to make this key underlying assumption?
Dark matter doesn't exist as partical thing. Dark matter is normal stage of everything. LIGHT is that one thing that changes the story. So we must concetrate defining light… It's like man want's to catch air with the hands, but don't want to catch something catchable like bird. One more time- EVERYTHING IS DARK, LIGHT CAME AFTER DARK. One more example: Man wants to proove self existance ignoring an alien being standing next to him.
I figured it out. Dark matter is midichlorians.
Excellent video.
One small point I would like to make, having lived through the time of this science and having been part of it. While the bullet cluster is an especially clean example of dark matter, it was not the first "direct" detection, and curiously the initial paper did not give the explanation here (which by the way, is the correct one.) But that is another topic really.
What people (mostly younger physicists) who tell this story get wrong is that there was an equally clean measurement back in the early 1980s. At that time, the work of Rubin and Ford, the work of Mort Roberts, the theoretical explanation of Einasto, Kaasik, and Saar (1974) , and the size of tidal radii of our Galaxy's satellite systems pointed toward dark matter. The 1930s work of Zwicky, which broke open the field, was actually not compelling since the old value of the Hubble constant was used (500) and the unknown virial time of Coma was assumed. The work of Rubin, Ford, and Roberts was also questioned by astronomers who argued about "maximal disks" where lots of normal mass could be hidden (this has been ruled out now).
Then, in the early 1980s Marc Aaronson discovered that the velocity dispersion of stars in dwarf spheroidal galaxies were way too large to be accounted for by normal mater. Sandy Faber and collaborators slightly later showed that the dispersions in normal elliptical galaxies were also too large. The dSph galaxies were particularly easy to measure star by star. There was no way around this measurement of dark matter unless the velocities were increased by repeated passages of the satellite galaxy near our Galaxy. But in order to puff up these satellites, basically all of them would have to be on their last orbit before breakup, which was statistically silly.
The discovery by Aaronson, now long forgotten by people who tell the story of dark matter, showed that dark matter existed on a completely different scale than that of rotation curves or galaxy clusters. These galaxies are very simple – no gas and just a few hundreds of red giant stars to measure. This made, and still makes, it difficult for modified gravity models because there are other objects of the same size- the distant Palomar globular clusters – which do NOT show any dark matter. This discovery by Aaronson helped lead to the quick acceptance of dark matter and he deserves not to be forgotten as one of the pioneers in the field.
The tragedy here is that Marc died in a terrible accident at KPNO in 1987 while observing these same galaxies, and along with his death seems to have also gone the knowledge of his work by people who retell the story of dark matter by copying what others have said. To put it bluntly, he died while confirming his discovery, something that is tragic. He deserves to be better remembered.
the missing energy is found by the movement of your hands in the video like 200 Kamehameha. ..sssss…and (galaxy) GUN
Dark Matter is John Cena.
You can't see John Cena
You also can't see Dark Matter.
Therefore, Dark Matter is John Cena.
so god exist
Dark matter is not necessary if the fabric of spacetime is not smooth by nature, right? Why must something be warping spacetime near galaxies? Perhaps normal matter flows toward natural depressions in spacetime and collects there to form galaxies.
