All great designers base their work on a ton of creativity and scrap a lot of ideas and concepts before starting to graphically design it. You need unique concepts and to also make sure that your design suits the product, you want something that makes the viewer gasp! Also, Steve Attardo’s covers are amazing, this guy is very talented!
I can't help but feel America is quite far behind Europe when it comes to graphic design. My friends graduation show had better work than most of the examples in this video.
