What about dyscalculia? These people don't have a brain built for math…. This video is really not very accurate
It might have been important to address mental disabilities (physical or otherwise).
While I understand the video and mostly agree with it, I happen to have dyscalculia. I was a little annoyed that this learning disability wasn't mentioned in the video. I did, however, enjoy it.
it's funny how all the people are bitching about how he's wrong, yet he has proof, and they just have the fact that they're failing math.
>Not Bad At Math, You're Just Lazy
At least someone that understands me. That's what i'm always telling my girlfriend: "You're not bad at blowjobs, you're just lazy!". And then she says stuff like: "Ohh, but i'm not an oral person!". No! STOP saying that! Don't try to make excuses, you're just lazy!
Math is awesome and I love it and that's probably why I'm great at it.
God I'm struggling with Math, I guess I am a bit lazy when it comes to math because I'm not very interested in it. I love all my other classes and perform great in them. I wish I could be good at math, I'll work hard to raise my grade..
the MBTI would beg to differ
was this motivation?
"Start by mentally calculating the tip"
Can't do it because I can't hold numbers in my head. Imagine working a math problem on a chalkboard and shortly after you start, someone comes along with an eraser and wipes it out.
I remember when maths used to be easy and I was a straight A student until like 2 years ago when algebra and calculating the curve of a line and graphs came in. I get Ds now I'm shit at maths like I don't get it anymore and algebra confuses me whereas I'm better at history and languages – I speak 2 fluently, can understand and speak a few words in 2 other different languages and altogether am able to understand 8 yet I am not able to do math -_-
I know a 9 year old who can see a math problem for the first time and all the sudden understand how the entire chapter works. He works on math a few times a week. I work on math 20 hours a week and I still don't get it. I believe he is just gifted.
love this
actually society just sucks at teaching math
fuck u and fuck math
So it's my laziness not my tough time focusing from my adhd and those two combine just = More I don't give fuck about school
