More space news and info at: – a large, bright explosion was seen on the moon on March 17, 2013. The explosion was caused by a boulder-sized meteoroid impacting the lunar surface.

Meteors were also observed in the Earth’s atmosphere at about the same time, and scientists think the two events are related.

Looks like tesla was right about the ether.  Both the moon and asteroid and all particles like electrons have a shell of ether around them as they travel.  The ether shells collided and gave off visible light.
