History of chemotherapy

The development of chemotherapy began during the first world war.

Fritz Haber, a professor at the University of Karlsruhe was the brain behind mustard gas.

Mustard gas is a thick, oily, brown liquid that gives off a weak garlic, horseradish or mustard odor.

The vapor attacks all living cells that comes into contact with it.

The German army used it in World War I against British and Canadian soldiers near Ypres, Belgium, in 1917.

Louis Goodman and Alfred Gilman were two doctors at Yale University that looked into the medical records of soldiers affected by the mustard gas.

They did successful animal trials and could kill cancer cells with mustard gas.

Alexander Haddow, a chemist, worked on a substance that could block cancer growth.

He showed which bits of the nitrogen mustard molecule could kill cancer cells.

How Chemo works

In chemotherapy treatment, they target fast growing cells by using toxic drugs.

You can take these drugs in pills, capsules or liquid ingested orally.
Other ways are through injections.

These drugs circulate throughout the body and kill cancer cells.
But they can’t see the difference between healthy cells and cancer cells.

Chemo is extremely toxic to the body and has many side effects.

Common symptoms include vomiting, fatigue, nausea, and hair loss

Some side effects may go away after treatment ends, but some may take months or even years to go away completely.

Chemotherapy causes more cancer. Death by cancer has more to do with cancer treatments than cancer itself.

Steve Jobs underwent chemotherapy treatments at the Standard Cancer Center. Months before his death he looked frail and was a shadow of his former self. He had thin legs, sunken cheekbones, and lost body weight.

In mid-January 2008, doctors diagnosed Patrick Swayze with stage IV pancreatic cancer. He traveled to the Stanford University Medical Center for chemotherapy treatment. Swayze died, with family at his side, on September 14, 2009, 20 months after diagnosis.

He weighed only 105 pounds (47.6 kilos) at one point and lost his hair and looked frail.

Chemotherapy only treats the symptoms of cancer and doesn’t try to solve the underlying cause. While it kills cancer cells, it also destroys healthy cells.

In December 2004, Australian researchers published a 14-year study of cancer patients. They looked at the 5-year survival rates of chemotherapy in 22 types of cancer.

The five-year survival rate in adults was about 2.3% in Australia, and 2.1% in the USA.

The cancer industry is a corrupt for-profit business.
They make money by treating cancer, not by curing or preventing it.

The purpose of conventional cancer treatments is not to eliminate the patient’s disease. But rather to keep them alive long enough to receive expensive cancer treatments.

Hospitals use fear to motivate cancer patients to take treatments.
